Malawi Student of Pioneer Business Planting Multiplies Business and Disciples
This past January we were able to conduct a Pioneer Business Planting with our local church planters and some people from their community. In attendance was a man who was struggling in his marriage and with alcohol. During the training, he was convicted by the truth that he was learning and as a result turned away from his addiction to alcohol and restored his marriage.
This alone would be cause for celebration, but he did not stop there. Realizing he could not keep this truth to himself he began reaching out to neighboring villages to offer the 5-day course he had taken during an 8-week course where they would meet 1-day per week for an hour. Each week the students would bring a little bit of money and created a Village Savings Bank that could be used to provide microloans to help students launch their businesses. Today, this man has trained over 600 people in 40 villages in Pioneer Business Planting and businesses are preparing to launch all over the region.
This is the type of multiplication that your partnership with All Nations International makes possible. The local leaders are making disciples who make disciples and they are using business not only as a means of sustainability but also to spread the Gospel and start churches. As a result of this training, our workers now have people of peace through which they can begin to reach out to in 40 villages.
You can help us continue this work by giving to our matching grant.
